No man can rule the earth; however, I move it beneath her and bid it swallow her up as she quakes to a fault I lay open. It is impossible to tame the ocean, but her waters flow at My command, dewfall obeying fingertips, hidden springs dousing My rod divine. The winds cannot be contained, yet her breath hastens at My touch, gusting with the force I instill; her puffs I weather vain. Fire follows its own course of will; her flames follow Mine, stoked ever higher until she melts in her own inferno, quenched at last by My generous reign. This goddess globe bows down to no mortal, but My lady kneels to My dominion; conquered not, she has given herself to a Man made powerful naturally. |
