Gentle Heart
The day you told me, That you loved me, I believed in you, I gave you all the happiness, In my life, I gave you all the love, In my gentle heart, Wishing that you only, Tell me the truth in return. The day you told me, That you loved me, I closed my eyes, I dreamed I was in heaven, In heaven with love, In paradise with your heart. I lived a happy life, Thinking everyday, Would be just like, This special moment, Between the two of us, I closed my eyes to sleep, And you were beside me, I opened my mouth to laugh, You were there to laugh, Along with me, You were always there, Always standing beside me, Making me so happy, So full of joy, That I forgot the pain, In losing love. But it wasn’t long, When you left me, Left my gentle heart, Breaking apart, Falling into pieces, Trying to go all around, This empty world, Trying to find you, Searching up and down, Trying to find you, But all I could find, Was darkness, Emptiness in love. |
