| Just One Lonely Dream When I was young, I thought love was, A beautiful thing, I thought love just come, And go, Like a dream, I didn’t realize, How love really felt like, I didn’t how, How much it would hurt, When you fall in love, I didn’t know, Love was just, One lonely dream. I looked into your eyes, It was like a dream, When you smiled at me, I just loved those eyes so much, I loved your voice, When you called my name, I drifted away, Like I was in a dream, And you were always there, To make sure that, I was happy. I held you so close, I loved you, Everyday of my life. When the sun went down, You were beside me, When the moon was up, You were there, To sing me to sleep, You were the one, That kept me alive, You were the one, That showed me, How love really should be. But you were also the one, That showed me, The pain in love, When you walked away, Leaving me to the nights, Calling for your name, You were the one, That left me, In those warm, Beautiful afternoon, Waiting for love to return. |
