Lonely Heart
With all the promises, You turned and left me, All the words of love, Were just lies, You never really meant, What you said, About staying with me forever, You walked away, Without saying a word, If only you could stay, For a moment or so, To make me happy, Why must you left, My lonely heart? All the dreams, Now lay on the ground, Broken to pieces, Where do I have to start, Where do I have to go, To find your love again, Where have you gone to, What will tomorrow be, When we once again meet, Will you look at me and smile, Or will you just walk off, Not saying hello to me, What will your heart be, Where will it be, Knowing that I would, Still be in love with you. I will smile at the pain, Knowing that you’ll never return, But what more, Could I do, But lay in bed, And listening to the falling rain, Listening to the footsteps, That will never come back, Thinking and dreaming, As if you have, Never walked away, From our love, All the dreams will last forever, But all and all, They will never come true, Without you in my life. |
