| Still Sad You left me, One summer day, Because of one word, You left me, One summer night, Because of one kiss, You left me yesterday, When summer came, When I thought love would, Finally stay alive, For the first time, In my life. You left me, One summer afternoon, While we walked down, That empty street, The sun was shining down, The beautiful blue sky, You smiled at me, For the very last time, Then everything turned black, Like those nights, After you left me, All alone in that, Dark quiet room. Those eyes, That looked at me, For the very first time, When we first met, Those eyes, Then once again, Looked at me, For the very last time, When you slowly faded away, Into the silent, Of the night. I thought after you left, Things would be the same, I would begin, To feel something new, In my life, I would see things, In a whole new way, But no matter what I did, I was still sad, Sad because of your love, Sad because I was here there, All alone without you. |
