Song For The Dead
There will be one day, When I die, When I close my eyes, Forever the memories, Will be locked in my heart, All the sad songs, Playing in the background, The songs that will sing, Forever goodbye, The tears falling down, Won’t be that of happiness, One goodbye, Means enternity. When the words, Written on the stone, Will bring the rain, When the road ahead, Will be just empty, Nothing but me, There will a day, When I stand alone, Watching the white clouds, Vividly fading in the distance, When I look at everyone’s face, And wonder where those days, Have gone, Because I can no longer, Remember them, Like I used to. There will be a day, When my hands grow tired, My feet give out, And all the love, That I gave you, Come back to me, Because I will be the one, With the laughter and tear, In my hands. |
