| Waiting For Tomorrow Those days that were with us, Though knowing that the hands, That held me so close, Won’t be here forever, Walking home at night, The loneliness, Creeps upon me, Knowing that you wouldn’t, Be here with me forever, The tears can no longer, Be kept inside my heart, Knowing the months ahead, Wouldn’t be as happy, As the months, I’m with you right now, I just feel sad. The dream that I have, About us each night, I can already see, It slipping away slowly, Within our reach, My hands are no longer, Warm as they used to, When I touch you, I can see that you no longer, Feel the same way, I can feel the pain, That is in your heart, But I just don’t know, Whether that pain, Is the pain of losing me, Or the pain of being with me. You are no longer happy, You no longer laugh, I guess I just have to wait, To see tomorrow, How our love turns out, Waiting for tomorrow, To come and go, Hopefully happiness would be, Here forever with me, But I know, Once your heart changes, I will no longer be able, To hold on to you. |
