MICHELLE |
There was a young girl called Michelle Who always loved racing pell-mell She raced in the house, she raced in the school She always raced in the swimming pool She raced into town, she raced into church And left others trailing in her lurch. She raced to exams for her new occupation As rocket researcher for a space station She raced in the air in her latest new rocket She raced to the moon and the stars She raced to find governments willing to spend Their money on racing to Mars But she saw a strange spacecraft whilst out on her travels Which raced even faster - Of course And persuaded the world to place more investment In new motors and gravitational force. Others got stuck whilst her problems were solved With spacecraft much better - not worse As she ended up racing even faster than light Around the depths of the universe. She raced it so fast - it met a black hole Was sucked in and started to climb Whirling and spinning into new dizzy depths To a new dimension and time Somewhere in time and dimension and space In a world where I hope she lives well, Racing around with her feet off the ground Michelle is still racing pell-mell ! |
