The Raven
The Raven, by Edgar Allan Poe, is an 18 stanza poem about a man that is going insane after the loss of Lenore, his wife. The Raven is a spectacular piece of writing thanks to its alliterations, internal rhymes, and rhymes. It consists of an A, B, C, B, B, B rhyme pattern. You will see what this means after taking a look at each stanza.
