5. NOW TO ANOTHER TRANSIT ISSUE, within these pages, I talk about how close following 302 buses, supposely running every 15 minutes, bunch up together. I proposed perhaps,they are running illegal contraband, and thus the hurry. Until yesterday, I didnt know really the possibility, though, I had noted some of them speed on that route to Escondido, Ca. transit station, bunching up at times in as many three 302 buses. At aprox 4:10pm, I crossed Mission Blvd (or is it still Sante Fe) with a one sided cross street of Los Flores, WHERE THAT LATE, CHILDREN AND LOCAL RESIDENTS CROSS TO GO TO A NEARBY CONVIENCE STORE. WILL DEATH OR HARM BE THEIR FUTURE?
6. As I crossed the street, Rt. 302, 1141 bus, female driver WAS SPEEDING TOWARDS ME FROM VISTA, CA. DIRECTION. I PUT MY HAND TO HAVE HER STOP, BUT SHE WAS GOING TOO FAST! AND PASSED ME BY. I WILL REPORT THIS TO THE SAN DIEGO SHERIFFS DEPT IMMEDIATELY. THIS STRRET ISNT WELL LIT AT NIGHT, SOONER OR LATER, THESE SPEEDSTERS ARE GOING TO HURT SOMEONE, TRYING TO CHEAT ON THEIR ARRIVAL TIMES, QUITE UNETHICAL. J.B.
7. 02: North County Transit of San Diego county discriminates against the poor by having an unusual transfer scam. Each route in its published schedules, has only two designated transfer usuage points besides transit centers! So if you are inbetween any of those, you would have to walk to them in order to use a transfer, that Federally should be good at any route bus stop. This a deplorable situation for elderly. disabled or the poor. Anyone who doesnt speak English or cant read it, is screwed. (Today, I filled out a form letter on the California Attorney Generals Website, leaving this message...

She didnt respond by email or any other way.
On Nov. 1, (01), while waiting for a Greyhound bus that never came in Oceanside, Ca. I noted a security guard at the also transit center, walking around laughing and having a loud good time with two also security guards (while others on duty quietly did their job.) At the transit center, awaiting to board, he and his entourage moved near me, still having their party. I went up to the party host, asking his last name, and guess what?, its SLATER. Yesterday, at the Oceanside Transit headquarters of NCT, I filed another formal complaint, speaking to a supervisor name of Ron Barrows. He said "Their security guard Slater no kin to Pam Slater" the county supervisor. Yeah sure, he would know, yeah...

On the day, I requested Slaters name, on the bus, I went to Vista, Ca. transit center, and when bus arrived, suddenly two sheriff patrol cars pulled up, I stayed on bus, then they left just as quickly, did Slater enter a false report? If you read my other transit pages, you should be appalled at what is pretending to be our national federally funded transit systems, in this age of terrorism, is that appropiate?
10. Recently, I returned from Indio, Ca., where a computer expert reconstructed this website into its new brilliance. TODAY, JUNE 4, 02, I sat at the Vista, Ca., Transit station, on the sidewalk, a transit guard came down towards me, one of two. The Hispanic one chose to walk in the landscape bed, right up to me, and I said, in his passing, "I hope nothing much is happening today." In a moment to my left, he stood, a few feet away, and in talking to an officer leader, Officer Pederson, the first pointed him arm down at me, and they both walked off. As I sat there, two of them stood at a building down a bit, in the shaded eave, staring my general direction, they looked very somber, as the bus was leaving, I saw one dance a little jig. But just before that two other security guards had approached my right side down the sidewalk, and I asked them "if there were also four at the Oceanside transit station, one said, "Yes, there were four there." Frankly, the way they line up, all big fellows, one would think they were guarding an incoming drug shipment.
11. On the bus, I asked the driver (Bus number 1003) if he agreed that 4 guards at this long like a bowling alley transit station, seemed too many(unnecessary expense paid by taxpayers). He also stated that they had cameras on all the building sides. AT THE OCEANSIDE, Ca. station, I saw only ONE security guard, and in leaving on the bus, going around the station, I only saw another at the Greyhound transit station part.

I CAN ONLY ASSUME THEY KNOW WHO I AM AND OF THE ISSUES I HAVE RAISED: MAY I SUGGEST THAT THE NORTH COUNTY TRANSIT DO ITS PURPOSE TO SERVE CITIZENS, FEDERALLY FUNDED, AND NOT SINGLE THEM OUT; UNLESS THEY ARE IN CRIMINAL ACTION. AND OH YES; PERHAPS, IF THEY SMILED MORE, FOLKS MIGHT HAVE MORE REGARD, IF NOT COOPERATION, WITHIN THE TERRORISM POSSIBILITY THAT CONTINUES. Jerry E. Barta, Poet-Gardener.

(The reason, I returned, besides the awful heat in Indio,Ca., was because I had reported to the FBI* by letter, my fear that amounts of money seemed to be disappearing from my Wells Fargo bank account, and fearing cyber terrorism, I asked them to inquire, plus protect the other 45 million citizens that receive a monthly stipend for disability. So these guards arent the only ones who protect against crime, I do often, at great risk to myself.)
15. Last week when bus 525 stopped, waiting at the Vista transit station, two of the security guards, came and stood blocking the door entrance to the bus. They proceeded to talk shit with the female driver, possibly harrassing her, talking asking her what she had to eat and what she would be serving at home for supper. A elder male had to force himself inbetween them, as they sang a song from a tv crime show, "What cha gonna do bad boy..." These guys need better training, they are obviously bored!
16.(On Sat. June 22,02, Mr. Slater at the Vista Transit station wearing very bright blue shades sat on a bench along with fellow security guard name of Acosta. Slater is sitting sprawled out, his legs open, he is a big fellow and physically intimidating. The bench is by bus stop 336 so I sat at wait for 331 at its next stop. Suddenly, bus 336 comes into the 331 where I am. The door opens, letting out passengers, Slater moves up to the open door with Acost standing a bit in the background. The Puerta Rican female driver looks nervous as Slater talks to her. She drives off on her route a few minutes later, Acosta stands near me, as I seek shade by a palm tree. Slater walks down to office at terminal, goes in the side door, a moment later, a male wearing a white knit probably a knit shirt and black shorts follow later in, closing door. To get Acosta name from his shirt name tag, I ask if there are only two guards on duty there now and he said yes...I guess the third one following Slater was a ghost.

On this recent past Labor (2002) day, bus route 318, bus number 1135, left the Oceanside, ca., transit station. THE MALE DRIVER TOOK IT DOWN, COAST HWY AS IF A KID ON A MOTORCYCLE. HE HAD HIS FEET JUMPING BACK AND FORTH INBETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR AND THE BRAKE< MOVING THAT HEAVY BUS, FULL OF PASSENGERS ON HIS PERSONAL JOY RIDE. WHEN I WENT TO GET OFF, HE LET FOLKS ON, WITHOUT CONSIDERATION FOR MY DISABLED SELF. I TOLD HIM SO, AND HE ORDERED ME TO GET OFF, OUT THE BACK DOOR, WHICH IS DEMANDING ON ANY DISABLED. LIVID, I CALLED THE OCEANSIDE POLICE AT 4:00 pm(760 435 4900). A "Debbie" refused to take my information, especially when I suggested the driver possibly on meth or speed drug. As did the dispatcher, I THEN ASKED FOR AN OFFICER, A FEMALE, WHO TOOK THE REPORT. I WAITED TO RETURN, AND BY GOLLY, HE HAD TO BE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, HAD TO BE, I RIDE IT REGULARLY. MR. SLATER AT THE TRANSIT WAS VERY FRIENDLY< AND TOOK MY COMPLAINT. A NICE CHANGE. (I CALLED THE CHP BEFORE WHEN I CALLED THE POLICE, THEY WERE CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAY!) WHAT IF IT HAD BEEN A TERRORIST EVENT?

AND DRIVES LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL!!HE WEAVES INBETWEEN HEAVY CONSTRUCTION RIGS THAT NORMALLY TRAVEL THIS SECTION OF MISSION BLVD ON THE WAY TOWARDS VISTA, CA. HE IS SPEEDING< TOSSING THE BUS AROUND LIKE A TOY< CHANGING LANES ALL THE WAY TO THE TACO BELL< NEXT TO STATERS BROS. SUPERMARKET, WHERE I DISEMBARK,
RUSHING TO THE CHEAPER CIGARETTES STORE< THEY LET ME CALL 911. A MALE OFFICER TAKES THE INFO, MY SAYING "THE DRIVER NEEDS A
DRUG TEST!"
VISIBLY SHAKEN BY THE TRAUMA, I EAT AT TACO BELLS AND WAIT TO GET THE NEXT BUS, WHICH IS BUS #1146, WHO IS IN THE WRONG LANE TOO, THE FAST LANE< HE HAS TO SLOW DOWN SO THAT A CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE CAN PASS HIM SO HE CAN MOVE OVER TO ME.
I GET ON, AND BEFORE I CAN TAKE ONE DISABLED STEP, HE ACCELERATES, KNOCKING ME INTO A SEAT, MY SCREAMING AT HIM, THAT "I JUST CALLED 911 ON ANOTHER DRIVER AND I WILL HIM TOO."
HE BERATES ME LOUDLY< SAYING I "WILL HAVE TO GET OFF< IF I CONTINUE TO HARASS HIM."
HE CONTINUES TO HARASS ME VERBALLY FOR SOME DISTANCE.
I came back to this area to contact lawyers to begin my lawsuits, this all above merely moves the Statue of Limitations forward.
This transit district continues to do some very strange things. For instance, yesterday, Sept. 27,02, I sat at the Vista Transit station, waiting for a route 311. A white car pulls up in that empty space, Its ID number D143, out of it comes one dressed in uniform driver, the other not. THEY LEAVE THE CAR RUNNING!, and go down towards the way other end of the station. 311 is at the opposite end where buses turn around to leave for their runs. In about 5 minutes comes two men, in the blue transit Hawaiian uniform shirts, and get into the car and drive off. They were carrying idenitical black large cloth box bags.
Too consider on two occasions on rt. 311, I have boarded a 331, only to have another 311 bus, usually empty behind it. This is not standard training procedure. None of the drivers know what is going on. On about this last Sunday, I caught a rt. 302 at 4:30 pm going towards Oceanside, Ca., its number was 1016**, I asked the driver how many minutes apart they ran. He said, about 30 minutes. I got off at San Marcos grocery stop later, and witnessed in the space of 15 minutes THREE OTHER 302's one after another coming and stopping at that bus stop. Their numbers were 1141, 1113, and 1139. Sometime ago, I asked a transit mechanic driving in a bus to the Escondido transit center, whether, refreshed buses changed places with buses on route. HE SAID, I WOULD HAVE TO ASK DRIVERS." I HAVE, THEY SAY THEY DONT KNOW." ITS ALL BIZARRE,
UNLESS OF COURSE THEY ARE< AS I HAVE REPORTED TO THE FEDS THAT THEY ARE RUNNING DRUGS, CONTRABAND OR ILLEGALS* MAY BE A POSSIBILITY.*THUS THE DANGER OF INCOMING TERRORISTS AS WELL. When I did get on the 311, above, I did see in the back, a male that didnt quite look Mexican, and looked guilty within the content of
his eyes. 311 is a sparse traveled route that would be beneficial to avoiding other more crowded buses, I wonder, how many other routes of this kind exist?
**On this bus sat IN THE SENIOR DISABLED SECTION, a transit surveyer. I whispered to her, as the bus sped off, as usual, not letting me Senior Disabled sit down first, that this was the usual problem. She didnt reply, NOR DID SHE OFFER ME HER SEAT.
Sometime ago, the NCTRANSIT ANNOUNCED ITS NAMING THE NEW PLANNED TROLLEY SYSTEM WAS OVER. I NEVER SAW ANY INFO, IT WAS BEING DONE. This week, a female stood with clipboards, asking us passengers at the Palomar station, to fill out a survey on the new names, so far chosen. THE NAMES THEY CHOSE STINK OF FRAUD, here they are: CRUISER, INLANDER, SPRINTER, and WAVE, why hold a contest for the predictable? GET THIS INTRODUCTION AT THE TOP OF THE SURVEY FORM, WRITTEN AS IT WAS :"We often associate certain description, with words that we hear. If I say "Ambitious" you may thinkg "go-getter" or you may think "conniving." WHAT A POSITIVE APPROACH, SO FULL OF OPTIMISM! PROMOTING CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE. At the bottom, I wrote in a box, my selection for a name, Zephyr, an old fashioned trolley name.
NCTRANSIT IS NOW PROMOTING A NIGHT RUN OF THE COASTER RUN TO TAKE FOLKS TO THE NIGHT LIFE OF DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO, IN TURN OF COURSE, OCEANSIDE AND OTHER STOPS WILL BE HAVING VARIOUS KINDS OF RABBLE AND CRIMINALS AS WELL COME THEIR WAY...THIS IS THE SAME TRANSIT AUTHORITY THAT WILLNOT HAVE DRIVERS PROVIDING DAY PASSES ON EACH BUS SO POOR PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY IMMIGRANTS, WONT HAVE TO SPEND A DOLLAR AND A HALF SEVERAL TIMES, ESPECIALLY ELDERLY POOR. BUT THESE IVORY TOWER DESPOTS DONT CARE, THEY'RE RICH AND FEDERALLY FUNDED, NONE OF THEM HAVE TO RIDE THE TRANSIT. FRIENDLY AMBASSADORS AT EACH STATION, WOULD HELP, PERHAPS, FANCIFULLY DRESSED, BUT AGAIN, ALL THE DESPOTS DONT CARE: THEIR CORRUPTION IS GUARANTEED.
