AT ALL COSTS, AVOID WENDY'S FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS AND PALOMAR HOSPITAL IN ESCONDIDO, CA... | ||||||||||||||

LAST MONTH, July, 02, about the middle of the month, I went into a Wendy's restaurant at Horne and Mission streets in Oceanside, Ca. I ordered and ate my favorite, a 99 cents "Chili, Chips and Cheese" dish. In about 30 minutes, at the Oceanside Computer lab, a couple of blocks down the street, I had a severe stomach ache and had to go quickly to the bathroom. Fearing amoeba dysentary, I took an Immodium ID tablet, which helped somewhat. I went to the mgr. later and told him about the incident, relating, that I was informed, hot foods need to be kept heated at 160 degrees or they can ferment botulism, especially chili. He merely said, "Yeah, yeah," and stormed off. Angry, I mailed the downtown San Diego corp. using one of their in house postcards. On the first of August, I assumed by that time, they had fixed the problem. I was wrong. This reaction was slower, not until the next day, did I experience headaches and various physical pains. I thought I could probably stop all of this by my usual procedure of taking mega doses of Vit. C, I was wrong again. By Saturday, two days after, I had to return to my camp and lay down, so fatigued was I. The next day, I had when I stood up, a belt of extreme pain in my lower adominal area, but oddly, not as yet, problem with bowels. In a dept. store parking lot, I approached an uniformed nurse, and asked her, what I should do, she replying, that I needed to take stool samples and then go to the emergency room at Palomar hospital. I did the stool sample, but went by the next day, offices of the San Diego County Health And Human Services (104 S. Barnes St. Oceanside, Ca. 92054. Clinic 760 967 4401) fearing that this condition might really endanger someone elderly or a child. The desk said they didnt do that! They said I had to contact the San Marcos, Ca., Environmental office. So aggressively, I had them call them and put me on. A "Becky" COMES ON AND TELLS ME, I HAVE TO TALK TO THEIR HOTLINE, SHE CONNECTED ME, MY FINDING OUT, IT IS A RECORDED MESSAGE< TELLING ME TO LEAVE MY ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER AS A MESSAGE...FURIOUS, I HANG UP, HAVE THEM CALL BECKY AGAIN, WHO FINALLY AGREES TO TAKE MY INFORMATION, ASKING THEM TO INSPECT THE WENDY RESTAURANT AND EVALUATE THE PROBLEM. OFF THE PHONE, A SECURITY GUARD SHOWS UP, STANDING AT FRONT DESK, obviously called by the desk help. NOW IMAGINE THIS< IF I HAD A HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS DISEASE, THEY WOULD ALL HAVE IT. BECAUSE OF THEIR OBSTRUCTION AND LACK OF CORRECT PROCEDURE, A TERRORIST WOULD HAVE WON. / The very next day, but with some body aching, plus a lesion on the back of my neck inflamed (In Needles, Ca. I ate for a month daily, the local Jack In The Box Hamburgers, and developed THREE boils. I assumed, caused by our noted terrible water, finally, I realized it must be the burgers. At the Needles city owned hospital, a doctor tells me, the burger bacteria "would be eaten by stomach acids." Thats how corrupt they are. People die there mysteriously, continually.) This lesion on the opposite side from the former boil problem, SUDDENLY inflames with vengeance. And so Tuesday, off to the Palomar Hospital Emergency room in Escondido, Ca., I come into a crowded room of waiting patients, go through the usual paperwork, writing on my application, I fear botulism from a restaurant meal. Finally, I am put in the waiting cubicle, requesting I be seen by a male rather than a female doctor. An honest request. OF COURSE!, a woman comes in, sits down on a stool, her name is Dr. London. She listens to me, to my feverish delerium, which has caused me, to jump around conversationally even more than I do when under stress. SHE ANNOUNCES< " I DONT THINK YOU HAVE BOTULISM." THEY HAVENT TAKEN MY VITAL SIGNS. WHAT DO THEY KNOW? She reaches and puts her hands clasped around my neck (she is not wearing protective gloves) and further claims I have nothing wrong with me, and that I should see a dermatologist about the neck problem. I insist, the stool samples be diagnosed, she says, "that takes about three days." If there is anything contagious, I request they contact Becky at SD Health dept., she says, "I have to do that", funny, Becky said the hospital would automatically do that. I was not given a prescription of antibiotics, I had requested. Out of the doctors (?she looked more like a nurse) clutches, I went to the hospital cafeteria. As I entered, a patient in hospital gown was pushing a stand complete with a bottle of fluid around in the area. He walked drunkenly, I went to the counter, speaking to a latin? person, who finally let me order a melted roast beef sandwich ($2.25), a large order of fries ($1.25), and a 32 oz. Dr. Pibbs drink $1.15), but when I paid, apparently the cash register male, short changed me, the meal costing me ten dollars, but given change for a five, which I didnt realize until much later. (That was after, the man and stand had dropped a hamburger on the floor, because where they have stacked trays for clients to use, they have a stack of white styrofoam ones, which collapse with weight, so figure?) I ate outside at their concrete patio tables, noted a unusual housefly trying to land on my sandwich...and then noticed the whole patio less than clean. I wonder if they are properly taking care of their discarded body parts from operations, that was a very unusual fly...remember, I'm a gardener(8,13,02: In the North County Times, 8,9,02, "A" section, there was a picture OF THAT SAME FLY, A TYPE THAT VISITS CORPSES. POSSIBLY BECAUSE I HAD A DARK BROWN RYE SANDWICH, IT ASSUMED IT FECES OR WAS IT THE CAFETERIA'S ROAST BEEF?, AND YES, IT DID LAND BRIEFLY< BEFORE I BRUSHED IT AWAY. THAT IS QUITE UNSETTLING...TO SAY THE LEAST. On the copies of this statement, I will hand out in the community will be a copy of the photo of that fly.) The interesting thing about the meal, it was tasteless...which I thought very strange. I have an acute sense of taste. Before I left, the grounds, I presented a complaint in writing to the Administrators office, asking it be given him, and suggested to his receptionist, that they put up you are here type map drawings next to their directional hallway signs, which in black and red, are hard on the eyes and confusing. She agreed, that a good idea. THEN I WENT TO THE E. VALLEY LIBRARY, WHERE A WOMAN ON THE NEIGHBORING COMPUTER TOLD ME HER HUSBAND, SOMETIME AGO< FELL FROM A 25 FT. LADDER< AND WAS RUSHED TO PALOMAR HOSPITAL. TWO HOURS LATER, SHE ARRIVED< AND FOUND HIM IN A BED< NEAR A NURSES STATION STILL UNWASHED OF HIS INJURY BLOOD! SHE WASHED HIM. / ON THE WAY HOME, ON THE TRANSIT< I MENTIONED THE PALOMAR HOSPITAL TO THE SENIOR DRIVER, AND ASKED HIM< WHAT HE HAD HEARD AS A DRIVER. HE SAID "A LOT OF PEOPLE GO THERE, GET AN INFECTION AND DIE." Hoping to alert Wendy's headquarters, about this August 6, 02, statement, I find their website CONTAINS NO EMAIL ADDRESS. HOW SMART IS THAT, BY TOMORROW, THE NEWS SERVICES WILL BE READING THIS....AS WELL AS THE FBI, THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION, and THE U.S. SURGEON GENERAL. PLUS, I WILL BE HANDING OUT SPECIALLY PREPARED COPIES ALL OVER SAN DIEGO COUNTY AS WELL AS MAILING THEM ALL OVER... ....Theres more to this story, actually. In 1996, i was camped outside in the Poway, Ca. area, and developed a terrible terrible earache. I went to a Poway community hospital emergency room, an affiliate of the Palomar hospital in Escondido, Ca. They inspected my ear, DID NOT WASH IT OUT, gave me a prescription for what I am sure was an expensive solution for the California Medical program to pay for. IT DID NOTHING. I then washed it out with a service station hose and took mega doses of Vitamin C, and it subsided in pain. While at that hospital visit, they insisted, I submit to two full body xrays, I CAN ONLY ASSUME TO RAISE THE ANTI IN THEIR BILLING THE STATE! THE ABOVE FELLOW SEEN STAGGERING IN THE HOSPITAL REMINDS ME OF A HOBO NAMED "BILL" WHO LIVED IN THE RIVER BOTTOM OF THE VENTURA (CA.) RIVER IN 1987. HE DRANK HEAVILY FOR THREE MONTHS OR SO, WITH AS LITTLE FOOD AS POSSIBLE, UNTIL HE DEVELOPED RUNNING SORES, THEN HE WOULD GO TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, AND THEY WOULD TAKE HIM IN, RESTORE HIM TO HEALTH, AND RELEASE HIM. HE HAD DONE THIS FOR YEARS!, BOASTING OF IT! ALL CHARGED TO THE STATE! / WAS THIS ABOVE THE SAME KIND OF RACKET, STILL IN OPERATION>>>? |
