LETTER TO THE EDITOR; THE COAST NEWS: P.O. 232550, Encinitas, Ca., 92023-2550
9,18,03:

Regarding WalMarts boasted community service, last week, in excruciating knee pain, I took in a prescription to the one in Oceanside, Ca., where I was informed their pharmacy closes at 7 pm.

About that skunk Bob Nanninga, last year, I sent his Encinitas villiage idiot poets group, a poetic letter, without return response from them. A natural skunk has more courtesy.

I have no feeling for surfer cockroaches, and certainly not for the passing of Gary Taylor. Who was homophobic and only surrounded by waves of his own ego.

If you go to www.poetry.com, writing in my last and first name, clicking on search, you can read a poem, "I Havent Forgotten You, Jimmy Aria," about a grumpy old man, I once loved.

Should anyone read this letter with any intellectual capacity, know well, I consider innuendo, a fine art.

A YEAR AGO, Father Carroll of the SD Homeless Mission, downtown, suggested in newsprint that he would like to do a version of his program in Oceanside, one that returns homeless back into society. Recently, some Oceanside, Ca. city council persons toured a new city property of 425 or so acres, when a rattlesnake lay across their path. Perhaps, it sought to remind them of other need than the usual greed.

At Ash St. and Washington St, is a huge old Quonset hut, owned by the city of Escondido, Ca., which with its fenced other space, would be a great homeless day center. I doubt if the neighbors would mind.
Perhaps, if the Taco Bell idea(on my site: www.geocities.com/poet92363 were implemented by the Interfaith Community Resource Center in Escondido, Ca., (surely resident Debbie Reynolds would help), the necessary repairs could be made.
