Today, at about 7:oo a.m., on this St. Pats Day(3,17,02), the above store (downtown Broadway St., Escondido, Ca.) a mgr. name of Joe Hernandez, told me as I sat on a sidewalk going through a just purchased there, Sunday Union Tribune newspaper, to discard some of its weight (classified, sports etc.) so as to not further strain my disabled knee cap, he told me, I "had to leave, I could not sit there, because I was loitering." He then stated after my verbal protest, that he would call police...so its DISCRIMINATION AS WELL AS DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER! In addition to the newspaper, I had just purchased some food items from "his" store. He was smiling with the same glee of ALBERTSON INFAMY.html and their security guard who did the same idenitical thing. As I left store, walking painfully left, to sit on the side sidewalk where some shopping carts are, I saw two Hispanic persons standing by a soda machine, a male and female, THEY WERE LOITERING. IS IT POSSIBLE THEY WERE THERE TO SELL DRUGS, to incoming employees or others and the mgr. wanted me out of THEIR TERRITORY? And what about those Mexicans who sell their used cars at the end of the Food For Less parking lot? I did however leave the area, alerting him, I would put this incident on my website, which apparently amused him, will the corporate C.E.O.´s be as amused. (I have been buying regularly pkg.s of flour tortillas from a local 99 CENTS ONLY STORE, at 99 cents for the same amount and brand Food For Less charges $1.95 for. Which discriminates against their Hispanic and Mexicam customewrs. In an earlier conversation with another mgr. at this store, he said, he didnt know why they were higher. There are a number of items I have found throughout the store that are higher than other places, perhaps they should add the word "maybe"to make it, ¨"Foods For Less, Maybe" Supermarkets.) J.B. They should clean up around their store, theres trash all over the landscaping. This same store was the scene of a local rapist and his crimes... |
