Behold for the mighty words that are to be said...
"Do this in rememberance of Me",
the drinking of the wine, the breaking of the bread.
The twelve gathered for His last supper.
One will deny, one to betray,
for the King of the Jews will have to suffer.
As He cries out in pain,
the skies now turn black.
The sins of this world,
weighs heavily on His back.
Gravity pulling His beaten,
bloody body down full force.
The power of His salvation,
taking it’s freely course.
Didn't He have to suffer these things,
so Christ can enter to His glory?
If He didn't fulfill what He was to do,
oh foolish ones, we would all be sorry.
For Christ died of an innocent man's death.
He did it once and for all,
so we might all have a chance of breath.
He was suffered by men,
only to live again.
