You are a goddess of the heavens,
and all I am is a mortal man.
A speck of dust in your eyes,
just a mere grain of sand.

I try to make my way closer,
as my heart drops to the floor.
The power of your beauty,
that will live on forevermore.

There you are, a goddess of light,
who by far brightens up the day.
But with all I have given,
I must turn and walk away.

I wish I could tell you,
how beautiful you are,
A smile that shines brighter,
more than any heavenly star.

Your beauty is which I speak of,
that inwraps the heart, soul and mind.
It will never be forgotten,
it will last through the sands of time.

I am nothing but a pitiful man,
with nothing in these empty hands.
You are a goddess of the heavens,
and I'm just a mere grain of sand.

Your beauty surpasses me,
for we are worlds apart.
There you are, radiant as can be,
you have a piece of my heart.

Must I walk into oblivion,
is this what I have to do?
For she's the woman of my dreams,
if she only knew, if she only knew.

I am under your spell,
your beauty that peirces the soul.
I must make it to the ends of the earth,
for this is my goal.

It might not mean nothing to her,
as my world fades to night.
But with every word I have said,
it was love at first sight.

For you are the woman of my dreams,
trying to tell you of what I feel
of these feelings that are all so real.
I try to take hold of this illusion,
with every step that I make,
my very breath you steal.

As I try to make my way closer,
emptier runs the stream.
As the sky begins to darken,
comes the end to this dream.

As I say my departing words,
I hope you see that I've been true.
Even though this is a fantasy,
I will never ever forget you.

I ask the Gods of the heavens,
will I ever see you again.
Like all dreams and this one,
all things must come to an end.

Jacqueline the goddess of this delusion,
the attraction of my heart.
As you graciously turn away,
my vision now crumbles apart.
