I thought that we were
to love one another.
Even to love our enemies,
our sisters and brothers.

The words that we say,
the bombs we ignite.
The looks that we give,
get ready for a fight.

Swords slicing the hearts,
the night all so dark,
is there anywhere to run?
With the words to kill,
the blood that we spill,
tell me now, who has won?

It's all useless play,
find the answer today.
What are we fighting for,
do we even know anymore?

They ignore what we say
and put up their walls.
As a nation under God,
we have the almighty gall.

I'm in the battlefield,
there's fighting all around.
We look for an answer,
but nothing's to be found.

The war of the religions,
going at it once again.
The world of the religious,
when will this all end?
