GOD SAVING SUICIDE POEM

I think how it can better,
with every single breath.
Would it be better to live,
or to trade it all for certain death?

For why would it matter,
if I were to live
or if I was to die?
Everything that I hope for,
seems to be nothing but a lie.

For will I be a hero,
if I were to take my own life?
Or will I simply be a zero,
suffering in my strife?

The pain that I bear,
this mask that I wear.
Is this what's to be,
what's to become of me?

Why oh why should I say a word,
when there is nothing for me?
Suffering in this world of pain,
in my dead silence I will be.

For will I be a zero,
if I were to take my own life?
Or will I simply be a hero,
suffering in my strife?
