The Catholic Poem

Can't you see we're all
brothers in the heart.
But why is it that,
you rip us all apart.

We worship the same Lord
but in different ways.
You cannot see that,
it's all lost in the haze.

For I have heard it,
for far too long.
All that I hear about,
is what we're doing wrong.

Worshipping statues,
wearing a crucifix,
Who's the next person
to get in their kicks?

What's with it,
you think your way is right.
But it's not,
we all worship the light.

Can't you see that,
we are all Christians.
We're just separated by
so called religions.

Brothers in the Lord,
so that's what they say.
I ask you, is that true,
or are we being lead astray?

Why do we fight?
Let us unite!
