"It's better to be hated for who you are than be loved for who you're not"
Do this, and you'll be cool, do this and you'll be accepted, do this and you'll be everything you've ever dreamed of being.
It is hard, in this society, to figure out who we even are in the first place, let alone, stick to it wholeheartedly.  It's nearly impossible to stick to our convictions, let alone our morals in the world we live in today, with everyone saying to be one way--we are often ostracized if we choose to go our own distinct, separate, original, unique way.

That sucks.

I have tried, in the face of college and the collegiate world, to stick to my convictions, to be sure of who I am, but it's hard--and gets harder everyday.

I am stronger for it.. but I have struggled, I have tripped, and I have fallen.  But, I've gotten back up--determined to remember who I am--to never forget myself, my values, my true nature.

It's hard--but I can do it... we can do it, it's not impossible, though it may seem to be that way at every turn.
