Always and forever
our hearts are joined as one
The promises we make today
as our lives begun ~
Knowing whatever come what may
we'll weather every storm
As the flame of our devotion
keeps us safe and warm.

Bella mia, as I take you
to be my loving wife
I promise I will cherish you
for the rest of our lives ~
I will honour and protect
and love you for all time,
For you to me are everything,
a promise so divine.

My darling, this I promise you
from deep within my heart
That this love I have for you
I always will impart ~
For you are my everything
and you'll always be
The man I love from this day forward
for all eternity.

Bella mia, bella mia,
how you are divine
My love for you is so immense
it will forever shine ~
Like sparkling jewels in velvet black
beneath the soft moonlight
My promise will be consummate
when we make love tonight.

I give to you my heart and soul
as together we are one
For I belong to you now
and our journey has begun ~
On this happiest day of my life
I always want you to know
That no matter where life leads us
I will follow where you go.

Cara mia, my one true love
per sempre we will be
I will never leave your side
for all eternity ~
Today I pledge my solemn vow
till death do us part
To love and honour and cherish you
from the bottom of my heart.

My darling, how I love you
until the end of time
For I find myself complete
within your arms entwined ~
And I cannot wait to begin
our married life together
The promise of this love we share
will be ours forever.

Like the stars within the sky
my love for you will shine
Throughout all eternity
until the end of time ~
For, Cara mia, you and I
share a dream together
To dance love's beat in harmony
always and forever.

"Another romantic poem written with colour-coded dialogue.   This one take place on this couple's wedding day as they make promises together of their dreams and hopes of a wonderful life.   They are both caught up in the romance of the day as they pledge their love ~ the woman so full of love and the man so full of passion.   With Italian phrases such as "bella mia" (my beautiful), "Cara mia" (my love) and "per sempre" (for always, or forever), he professes his devotion to his bride.   The Italian language is very romantic and I chose it for this poem, as she married her Italian beau under the stars and moonlight.   A very romantic poem."
