"This is a poem about the beauty of a guardian angel, commissioned by the Master himself to watch over us. It is expressed in metaphoric surrealism, with each of us having an angel to watch over us in the midst of our despair, and though we feel ourselves enveloped by the soft and gentle wings of our angel of compassion, the message is still very clear at the end ~ it is God Himself who bears all our worries and burdens, and carries us through our troubled times. Most of us are comforted by the fact that there are angels watching over each of us every day, and there is nothing wrong with that. But angels are God's own workers, and nothing they do is ever more than what God does for us. Angels are our gifts from heaven, like a fragrant flower in the breeze or a kiss in the wind or the touch of a hand....they are God's missionaries. So the next time you feel a breath of wind on your face or the faintest kiss, remember, your angel could be near. And if your angel is near, then remember God is always there because He is omnipotent and His love is everlasting. This delightful poem is to remind us what we have in life, even if we don't always see it or feel it ~ but it is always there. God is always there."
