Angel of hope, watch over us
and this land we love

revere in this place
A sense of calm in plentitude
within the Master's embrace ~

this anguish we now bear.

From your place in the room
emanate your scent
Overwhelm us with a peace
in soothing content ~
Shining on us with your smile
so we may understand
That the power of resolution
now rests within God's hands.

Angel of hope, spread your wings
and embrace this hurting world
Although we know this conflict
should have been settled long ago ~
Under the power of our God
sprinkle us with peace
So when the battle comes to an end
all our fighting will then cease.

Angel of God, our angel of hope,
by your light we pray
Shine on us in your splendour
on this judgement day ~
Let your fragrant calm envelop
by your candle's glow
As we join our hearts together
be our angel of true hope.
