There's a promise for tomorrow written by the hand Of someone far greater than we could ever understand ~ A source of comfort, wisdom and strength that we all search for, Found within the pages that were penned by our Lord. The Bible is the answer for the problems that we bear With pages of solutions and solace that's found there ~ No matter what your worries there is no greater need Than looking to the Bible for the answers that you seek. God is all-majestic the wonder of His Word Brings healing to the millions who may have never heard ~ The answers they were searching hoping they would find A blessing so abundant, handed down through time. The comforting words of the Lord penned by His own hand Gives hope to the world who needs to know that He will always understand ~ The solace found within the Psalms written by a king A man after God's own heart who sought His comfort within. The wise words of the Proverbs speak into our hearts Wisdom for which we always search that many seek the stars ~ With the beauty of the Genesis and the journey of Exodus From Moses to Joseph to Abraham God's message is clear to us. From comfort to instruction that came from God's own hand Our ten laws for living under His command ~ The power of His greatness shining in His love As His Holy Spirit descends on us on the wings of a dove. So open up your Bible just seek and you will find The answers for which you're searching and comfort in those lines ~ The strength within His guidance in the arms of His embrace Just finding solace in His love and everlasting grace. When you're overwhelmed by worries and don't know what to do Just look to find the comfort in God's everlasting Truth ~ For the pages on which they're written may one day pass away But the power of His words within will always remain the same. © Christina 28th April, 2003

"This is a simple poem about the comfort found within God's Word.   While many think the Bible is just a book of do's and don'ts, or a storybook, or even an out-of-date historical book ~ the promise of God is that although the pages may pass away, His words within this Book will NEVER pass away....they will always remain.   And no matter how people colour them, or take it out of context, God's Word will always remain true.   Not our truth or their truth, but God's truth.   And within the pages are accounts that we can relate to in our every day, and there is wisdom to be found there.   And there is comfort and solace for which we search, but never seem to find.   God's comforting words will always remain.   They will always remain forever, they will always remain true, and they will always remain a comfort....forever."
