On December 25, we all gathered at
my mother's house for Christmas dinner.
In addition to our family (Marc & Monica,
Matt, Allison & Lilly, Autumn, Brian &
Llyli, me, Butch and Ethan), those in
attendance were:

Dan & Sheri Yates, and daughter Tara
Dinsmore, Wally & Dianne Yates, and
their daughter, Nichole, and her two
daugters, Mickala and McKinsey,
Glenn Yates, Richard and Polly Yates,
Fred and Teressa Bays, Jim Yates,
Brianna Bates, Brandon Bates, my sis
Tammy and her husband Doug, and probably
a few more that I'm forgetting. I think,
in all, mom said they had 36 people
to visit on Christmas Day.

My cousin, Dan and I both share birthdays
in December -- mine on the 11th and his
on the 28th. Little did we know that they
had also "cooked up" a surprise for the
two of us -- so in addition to a Christmas
dinner, we also had a birthday party. Below
