Let there be peace,
When all else fails.
Let there come a time...
When LOVE shall prevail.
Let mankind embrace
Each man as his brother...
Caring not about age...
Religion or color.
Let us learn to pray
For those we've despised...
May truth overshadow...
Deception and lies.
Let there be friendship,
Where enemies once fought...
Let mankind unravel
The Gordian Knot.
Let cunning and guile...
Be words without meaning...
As from our mistakes...
We're constantly gleaning.
Victory can be ours...
And peace can be won...
When man respects mankind
And lays down his guns.
We are all Heavenly children...
Created by God above...
So, instead of fighting...
Let us bask in His love.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
We all have our differences, and
we all see God through different
eyes, but as Christians we are taught
to LOVE our neighbor. We may not
like the actions of our fellow man,
nor may we agree with his or her ideas;
however, instead of condemning...
MAY we learn to lift up in prayer
those that are in deepest need of
God's love. God did not sit among
the righteous when He was with us...
the Bible teaches us this...so let
us remember that in order to be
in the world, but NOT OF the world,
we need to lift those in need up
to the Lord...and in the meantime
show love and kindness to everyone
we meet. THIS is truly Christian love.
