"Love Me Not"


To all the ladies please heed this note,
Love me not for the words I wrote,

Love me not for the songs I sing,
Love me not for the smiles I bring,

Love me not for the look you see,
Love me not, do not love me,

Love me not from morn' till night,
Love me not it is not right,

Love me not from dusk till dawn,
Love me not for my love is gone,

Love me not please hear this plea,
Love me not do not love thee',

Love me not for a single day,
Love me not in any way,

Love me not the way lovers do,
Love me not I cannot love you,

Love me not and in my defense,
I cannot love, love makes no sense.

I wrote this poem one day, (5-6-2002). When I was confused, Depressed, And just not happy............. And, Along with several personal offline messages on my Yahell Messenger.
