"Good Morning"

I awoke this morning in my sun lit room,
I felt joyous with no feelings of doom,

So I got up with a glorious smile,
Grabbed some coffee and stepped out for a while,

And as the beautiful sun arose,
With rays tickling a sneeze in my nose,

I thought of just how lucky I felt,
With all the morning cents I smelt,

As three beautiful children awake from their sleep,
And up to their daddy for hugs they did creep,

"Good Morning" I say to each precious one,
their faces lit up by the bright morning sun,

I now know that I am truly free,
With just my children, their love, and me,

My friend's love I cherish for it is true,
Always there for me whether happy or blue,

I love this morning five-ten-o-two,
I love this morning and of all of you.
