“Poetic Justice”

To all you poets who can't write worth a damn,
Please stick to your typing and your cam,
And to all the wannabe poets out there,
Please give it up you don’t need to share,
I talk of the ones that write really bad,
Your poetry skills really are sad,
Try not to ask of me what do I think,
If you do not wish to know that you stink,
Do not ask my opinion lest you expect honesty,
For most of your writing is merely a travesty,
Think about what your writing from the start,
Because poetry comes from within your heart,
True poetry is an emotion, not a word,
It comes from what you feel… not heard,
Poetry is not letters or lines on a page,
And cannot be something learned with age,
It’s a feeling you get when you smile or cry,
An expression of emotion that can never die,
These words we have written may anger you,
But when I say that you suck it really is true,
Stop writing, you suck, what else can I say,
Oh! I hope we’re still friends! And have a nice day.

With all the poetry that I have read in my life (and I read a lot) I find that some of you people just plain suck. (Not that I am claiming any greatness myself but hell I'm better than some) So, with the writing of this poem! The aid of a very sweet young lady! Jeneie M. West who brainstormed this masterpiece. I here bye dedicate the following poem and words to all of you writers out there... You gotta know! How could you not?
