This could never quite say it best,
And perfection it shall never be,
But you are far above the rest,
And there you shall always be,

I’ve said it before,
And I’ll say it again,
I could not ask for more,
Than to have you as my friend,

It completely boggles my mind,
I can’t even explain the feeling,
That in you I would find,
A friendship that sets my heart reeling,

I truly need you and that’s no lie,
I miss you deeply when I’m not here,
And If I lost you I would cry,
A lifetime of sorrowed tear,

I cannot love you,
As you love me,
This makes you blue,
And that, I can see,

But do not make small,
The love I have for you,
Though not what you want at all,
It is all that I can do,

I look forward each and every day,
To talking to you here online,
And when it don’t work out that way,
My day is far from fine,

You know me better than anyone alive,
My moods you can tell in a flash,
When I’m down it’s you that’ll strive,
To cheer up my silly ass,

I cannot begin to express,
Just how much you mean to me,
But without you I’d be a mess,
And that, even you can see,

This poem goes out to tell the masses,
The friendship I found in you,
As friends go you kick everyone’s Asses,
And my love will always be true.

Now I’ve said it before,
And I’ll say it again,
I could not ask for more,
Then to have you as my friend.
