| False Love Please explain something to me, For I just cannot figure it out, You look me in the eyes and say you love me, Yet when you open your mouth lies come out, You never stop to think of how it will affect me, When you lie, cheat, and make plans to go out, You say the sweetest man you ever dated was me, Then take my trust and just throw it out, I cannot explain how much you hurt me, When for others you throw my love out, But still you say you dearly love me, And I just cannot figure this out, If by chance you really loved me, How could you do the things you do, After cheating how could you hold me, How could you lie to me like you do, You say you love me, You know not what love is, You say you are not worthy of me, And for the first time, I agree, How could you hurt me the way you do, When I have given you nothing but the best of me.
