You're Gone Last night I went into our room, But you were not there, I climbed into our bed, And you were not there, I whispered "Good night", Yet you were not there, Sweet dreams and I love you, But you were not there, I reached out to hold you, But you were not there, My tears fell to your pillow, Cause you were not there, I tossed and I turned, And you were not there, My dreams had no joy, Because you were not there, I awoke this morning unrested, And still, You were not there, I said Good morning my love, But you were not there, In my heart's tomorrow's, I pray your not there.
