The song will make you cry.
It takes a while to download
but believe me its worth the wait.
I believe its sung by Sandy Soffe

I MISS YOU DADDY

I remember that morning when you left for work
You bent and kissed my forehead as I played there in the dirt
I felt your hand upon my head, your fingers in my hair
And when you left I turned to wave and thought I saw a tear

You looked so handsome in your uniform
Like the Prince in Cinderella
Mommy said you would be gone a long while
So she gave me a picture, the one where you smiled

I put it on my nightstand, right beside my head
And every night I say my prayers, just like we always did
Mommy cries most every night, I wipe her tears away
And sometimes crawl into her bed when she asks me to stay

Mommy says you flew to heaven in that plane you loved so much
She said that Jesus called you, and she saw Him lift you up
Sometimes I see her looking, up into the sky
And I wonder what she's thinking when the tears well in her eyes

She says that you're a hero, a man that made her proud
And even though we miss you, we feel you all around
Your picture hangs beside the flag, the one you loved so much
And each time Mommy passes she whispers "In God We Trust''
