Writing Tips

Here you will tips to help you start or imporove your writing. Enjoy!!

First a few tips from the maker of this page.
1. Read a lot and get inspired by others' writings (but don't steal anything!)
2. Write from your heart! The words should come from you!
3. All poems don't have to rhyme!
4. Try to get inspiration from for example listening to music or strolling out in the nature! These are great sources of inspiration.

Sis Lucy found this Online Rhymer! Type in a word and get suggestions for rhymes!!!

And here's a tip from Sis Lady Damn! She says, "When I get blocked I will go through a news paper or mag or what ever I can find and look for words I want to use, then cut them out and arrange them over and over till I get something"!

Sis Rita says: If you have a thought, even if it seems trivial, WRITE IT DOWN!!!!!!!!.......You may find yourself looking at that note in a couple of days, weeks, or even a month, and suddenly find yourself expanding the thought into.......what? A poem???????

This is Sis Barb's tip! WRITE FROM EXPERIENCE AND WHAT YOU FEEL IN YOUR HEART. BECAUSE IF YOU WRITE WHAT YOU HAVE LIVED OR HOW YOU FEEL THEN IT WILL COME OUT THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO AND YOU WILL FIND THAT IT WILL HELP SOMEONE ELSE AND YOU ALSO BECAUSE YOU HAVE PUT IT ON THE WIND!

More are to be added as I get tips! Submit tips here!
