| "Dixie Stomp" was performed on Father's Day by Don and his son Christopher. Please enjoy the blues done so well by Chris and Don Pritchett. Thisis a bluesy, funky tune but my poem tonight goes deeper. It's a blessing upon the world. I'm so unpredictable aren't I? |

| I wish upon a rainbow, in every single hue That if I were to make a wish, I'd always be with you I wish upon a Dixie star, with stardust in the air That everyday I'd have the chance to see you standing there I wish upon the heavens, on every angel's wing That people would find happiness, and every heart would sing I wish upon the grieving, with every tear that's shed That God would give me strength to speak And only loving words are said I wish upon two lovers, on every hug they share That someday, someone dear to me would tell me that they care I wish upon the dance of life in every form of motion That love could be expressed through me, because of my devotion I wish upon the music men, whose songs are always heaven sent That someone dear would read this poem, and know exactly what I meant I wish upon my heart, for it's filled right to the brim Of love for someone special, and I've saved it just for him written by Susan Jane Kahon June 17 2003 ICU 7:47pm Thanks to Ms. Wonderland for graphic and to Don and Chris for the song. God Bless All. |
