"Steppin' Out With My Baby" |
From The Poetry Collection of Susan Jane Kahon |
Steppin' out with my baby Gonna hear some blues tonight Gonna slow dance with my sweetie Until the early morning light Just a cozy little corner Where we can have the floor To cuddle and to kiss.. To ask the band to play some more We are souls transformed by melodies Our bodies blending in the dark Moving, oh, so slowly... As we feel the passions spark Oh, there is music, that I hear... And gentle whispers does it speak Notes of blues, and harmony That will put us both to sleep Come dance away the night Come, make my body so aware I want to feel you close to me And see the pair of eyes we share We swing and sway, to sultry blues As we cling to love, in ecstacy Savoring every sweet note.. We embrace love, musically written by Susan Jane Kahon June 16, 2003 ICYU 7:25 pm |
