| One year ago the World Trade Center was bombed by terrorists. And many lives were lost and our spirits were broken and we learned to mistrust, and we learned despair. But we also learned that faith and trust in God will pull our nation through.So many singers have sung this very beautiful song.I picked Lee Greenwood's version, because he is a very patriotic man in real life.So here is Lee Greenwood's version of "America The Beautiful" |

| My poem is about the September Eleventh tradegy. It tells of how we were attacked and how we rallied as people and a nation to rise above despair. I have known despair in my own life, but nothing like this, where innocent people were killed.God Bless Us All And may we remember to unite on September Eleventh, 2002 |

| Never, will our nation, under God' Forget the date..September 11 All our thoughts, from that day on Are for our heroes, now in heaven We don't know how this happened How we were hit by air... Not knowing, in that moment It would lead to such despair The deepest sorrow, now Extends for all mankind Just when we think our brothers love us Instead it's hatred that we find Our lives were filled with horror Sadness filled our hearts with tears And this moment marked in history Will be remembered through the years Let's join our hands together And get rid of all the pain Let's love each other totally And form the strongest chain All our innocence was lost Yet in this shattered world we live A few of us are left intact Who have the strength to give Now, for those of us who've lost A loved one from this day Let's bow our heads and clasp our hands And to our Saviour, pray..
