Little Boy Lost

Oh little boy lost
How soon you have gone,
You're time was too short
To finish your song.

You were humanities son
Tell me, how can it be,
That your life has been claimed
By the deep and dark sea.

Your indomitable spirit
Once gave hope to us all,
You'll long be remembered
From your rise to your fall.

A saluting young lad
Touched our hearts and gave light,
Now taken from us
In the dark of the night.

No longer to see
Your bright, smiling face,
For Heaven's sweet journey
Has now taken place.

Although we will miss you
Your sufferings through
Now you're with mother and father
And Carolyn too.

No matter how hard
We must let you go
For this now is your destiny
In life's ebb and its flow.

So little boy lost
At last you are home,
Now on streets paved with gold
Forever you'll roam.

So rest now in peace
And go where you may
We'll miss you sweet prince
Is all I can say.
