Phospho-soda Cocktail

My phospho-soda cocktail will not be downed in vain;
I know, for I've been down this road before.
As always there's the roar and rushing of the train.
 
Although my humble cocktail seems gentle  sweet and  plain
it always tends to leave me sort of sore.

If memory seves me well, I know there will be pain
but hopefully there wont be blood and gore
but just the rumbling roar and rushing of the train.
 
So I do not hesitate to take this route again
for surely 'twill my basic health restore.

I'll surely make the bathroom just once more

'Seems the jerk who makes these sodas could make one more tame
that you could simply drink and then ignore,
but as it is, this cocktail, has not been downed in vain
and all can hear! - the roar - and rushing of the train.
