Recollections of the Past

Chapter 1.5 - Touched with Amnesia

“Tell me… W... who are you and why do you seem to know me so well...?”

“You... You seriously do not remember who I’m, Riku?” Sora asked, his sapphire eyes filled with melancholy. He felt even emptier when the silver-haired boy shook his head, before making a few rude comments about him invading his personal space before.

Getting off the bed, Riku grabbed his towel and headed for the door.

“Wait, where are you going? I said I was sorry, you could at least be nice enough to accept my apologies.”

“I’m just having a shower, not that it’s really any of your business.” Riku pressed as he walked out of the room with an irritated expression on his face.

Sora flinched in response to his cold reply, sitting on the carpet and staring blankly as the silver-haired boy left him alone in the bedroom.

Turning on the shower to a nice comfortable temperature, the brunette stepped in underneath the showerhead to allow the warm water to sprinkle onto his body. His eyes fluttered close as moisture came in contact with them, and he sighed in bliss as the spray of water left his hair moistened.

A shower was definitely necessary after that little incident from before, which left a thin discomforting layer of sweat on his body. Not only that, he needed to cool down as a slight feeling of unsatisfied desire was still vaguely present, as much as he hated to admit it.

“Who does he think he is, trying to take advantage of me while I’m sleeping.” He growled frustratedly, sliding the soap down the length of his arms.

Brief memories began to flash back through his mind... The sweet scent that he had tasted in his mouth, the teeth that marked his flesh, hands that tenderly stroked his navel and slightly lower... And finally, the brunette with that certain naïve yet adorable smile on his face.

Heat rose on his face and he began to lean back against the wall of the shower in an attempt to relive his memories again. Hands wondered for a moment, as his body demanded attention in certain areas...

The soap that he had gripped tightly onto before had slipped onto the ground somewhere along his flashbacks.

Mindlessly, he ran his fingertips against a nipple, his head tilting back to dig into the wall, a silent moan slipped from his mouth.

Those hands... What would they feel like if they touched his body like this?

His breath trembled while his fingers skilfully pinched and tweaked the small aroused flesh. Small beats of sweat adorned his forehead, the gentle flow of water above him washing it away. Damped silver tresses glued to the sides of his face and down the front of chest uncomfortably. His hand slide slowly down to his abdomen, lingering around the sensitive area, fingertips gliding smoothly against the skin.

His mouth gapped open temporary, marvelling at the sensation that he had just caused.

Delicious temptations arose within him.

Using one of his hands, he continued playing with his nipples, while the other edged tauntingly lower, his body finally given in to desires as fingers wrapped around his painfully throbbing member to give a rough firm pump...

Nnn...”

The act had caused an earth-shattering quiver to rock his tired, numb body, and although he ached for more, he finally allowed himself to catch up with his own actions and stop before he went any further.

“Oh God... What am I doing and what the hell am I thinking about while I’m doing this?!” He pulled his hand back immediately in slight repulsion, while shaking his head violently, to clear the images from his head.

What the fuck is wrong with me? I don’t usually let something as stupid as this bother me so damn much...’ He had mentally scowled at himself, fist clenching tightly. ‘So why should he be any different...?

He was still panting rigidly, his body twitching and begging for more sweet torture that he had clearly denied for quite a while now.

But suddenly, a familiar pain began to echo on his right shoulder, the stinging sensation causing the boy to lean against the wall even more for support. His arm hugged the top half of his body, a hand grabbing the painful area.

The wounds... They still...

All he could remember... Was running.

Laughter can be heard in the background.

Footsteps approached him from behind.

Glass shattering.

A blinding white light filling his vision...

“…”

And that was it, he couldn’t recall anything else after that, nor does he remember the reason why he had fallen out of that window in the first place. And all of his previous memories has entirely disappeared. He could only know about his own past by listening to what Cloud and Leon has to say about it... But there were still so many blanks to fill in…

The humidity and smoke caused by the hotness of the shower had become rather suffocating, causing the silver-haired boy to breath intensely through his mouth. Flicking his tongue against the dryness of his lips, he leaned forward to turn the shower off before walking outside to grab his towel. He began drying his hair before pulling the sleek silver strands back into a neat ponytail. Running the fluffy white towel against the water droplets that remained on his body, he pulled the black singlet over his head while sliding on his shorts.

Swinging the wet towel over his shoulder, he made his way back to his bedroom, but firstly stopping by at Cloud and Leon’s room to make sure that he didn’t wake them up in the shower before. Sighing in relieve that the couple was still sound asleep, he stopped momentarily outside his bedroom door, silently praying inside his head that the brunette have forgotten about the incident before so there would be no further awkwardness between them two. Slowly turning the doorknob, he slipped inside the small room, which was filled with darkness and silence.

“...”

He was sound asleep.

Riku sighed quietly in relieve, making his way over to his own bed, throwing the damped towel over to hang on the bar of his bed frame. Trying his best to forget all the events that has happened in the past two hours, he sunk into the soft mattress and attempted to go back to sleep. But he couldn’t, and for hours, he lied there, staring at the staring and wondering to himself why it was so interesting to look at in the first place.

Rolling over to look in the direction of the sleeping brunette, he made a face as he cursed silently inside his mind.

This was all his fault. If it weren’t for him trying to seduce Riku when he was sleeping, then perhaps he wouldn’t be so damn troubled at the moment...

‘Maybe I shouldn’t have pushed him off so harshly without getting a decent explanation first...’ His mind trailed off. ‘Perhaps this is all my fault...”

But wait! This definitely wasn’t his own fault because he was the innocent victim and he never wanted to take part in any of this, right?

“…”

Tossing and turning for the rest of the night, the silver-haired boy finally managed to drift off to sleep for a while when the first rays of sunlight shone through the night sky.

“And then when I slowly begin to wake up, I felt arms around my body and something was biting my softly. I looked down half-awake and found he there, touching and necking me... It scared the shit out of me!” Riku recalled, hugging his pillow closer against him.

He looked over to the other single bed, where the brunette from the night before was still sleeping peacefully.

‘How the hell could he managed to sleep so comfortably after what he did last night? I didn’t get more then a hour of sleep.’ He thought, the recollections of the events began to play back in his mind again, causing him to tear his eyes away from the sleeping boy.

“So what you’re saying is, you seriously do not remember who he is?” Cloud asked, voice slightly concerned as he looked over to the taller brunette who was leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed.

“No.” Riku narrowed his eyes a little while looking at the blonde. “Why does everybody keep giving me this weird looks when I say I don’t know this guy? I seriously do not recognise him nor do I remember him from anywhere before, ok?” He turned to offer a small look of annoyance at Leon who seemed to be deep in his own thoughts. “But come on how can you guys pair me up with such a dangerous person? Friend or not, he completely cross the line between being friendly and getting too comfortable.”

“Its just as I thought...” Leon mumbled softly under his breath, causing the blonde to turn around quickly, giving the tall brunette a warning glare. The look reminding him that he wasn’t suppose to talk about Riku’s memory loss openly as he had promised Cloud just a few nights ago. And when the silver-haired boy turned around to see what the commotion was all about, Leon just simply looked away in an opposite direction so he wouldn’t have to answer any questions that he might lash at him.
