Main Shuttle Bay - Deck 2

Below is a look into a few of the support craft currently available on the Endeavor. In a tradition started in May of 2004, Shuttles will be named after Crewmembers who have served the Endeavor with distinction, and have since departed.

Shuttle Robinson

This Type VI Personnel shuttle, one of the original shuttles assigned to the USS Endeavor, was renamed Shuttle Robinson by Captain Gregory Winchestor. The name Robinson refers to the first Captain of the USS Endeavor and the President who commissioned the starship, Captain Scott Dale Robinson.

Shuttle Williams

This Type IX Personnel shuttle, one of the newer shuttles assigned to the USS Endeavor, was renamed Shuttle Williams by Captain Gregory Winchestor. The name Williams refers to longest Commanding officer of the Endeavor who served from August 2001 to September 2003.

The Hawk

Originally a Broadsword Class fighter assigned to Fleet Seven Headquarters, the Hawk was reassigned to the USS Polaris following its pivitol role in the rescue of several Fleet Commanders by Polaris officers. After the departure of Captain Gregory Winchestor from that starship, the Hawk was reassigned as Winchestor's personal fighter. It found a home on the Endeavor when Winchestor was transferred to that vessel.
