I often find myself thinking. Sometimes I write it down. Here's someof
that:

Linux on Inspiron 8200 |
I had a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop for a while, and spent some time getting Linux configured on it. Here's the story. |
This is a very basic beginning of a world book for playing navy and army characters in Napoleonic times (around 1790-1815). It will focus on the British navy and army. To play in this setting, you will need a copy of GURPS SwashbucklerTM, since it contains the rules for ship-to-ship combat and a lot of useful nautical stuff. This is in extreme draft stage; it will be a long time before this is up to the standard one of Steve Jackson Games' official world books. It's on the back burner for now, until I get a group of people willing to play. I've started a mailing list to discuss these rules, which has very, very little traffic. Feel free to join up if you're interested, and I'd welcome some actual discussion. ![]() Click to subscribe to GURPS-Hornblower |
