Polkamotion by the Ocean this past year was AWESOME! It all started with the ride down Thursday at 6am...picking up Michele in Bal-T-more, and then heading for the beach. We got there and headed to Krissy & Missy's room for a bit of catching up, then over to the hall to hear TPM & Power Supply. Later that night was Polka Family & Buffalo Touch. Great job by all the bands. After the dance Thursday and a little counseling, it was off to the beach with Paula, Renee & Wes. After an interesting trip to the beach...hurdleing the fence, cutting my foot, and getting some happy frappee drinks...it was time for Paula's pirowet's and the pyramids. Thanks guys!! Friday morning started off with the party in the cottage at Castle in the Sand with Roman the Romanian and Sevin Kolecki who seemed to have just gotten off the boat. After moving everything over to the main hotel, the party and the happy frappee's continued. Wes, Renee, Michele and I went out on the beach to check out the nasty waves and rain and wind. Took a few pictures til the major WAVE came and hit us. So back to the room.......then to Big Peckers for Happy Jack's DJ'ing....and partying with the BIKERS!!! However, we had to have a little fun on the way down. Since it was raining, we all had sweatshirts and what not on. Well, Paula and I decided to "flash" the people on Coastal Highway...her with her bathingsuit, and me with my "polka girls gone wild" shirt. Wouldn't ya know it that these two guys driving the beer truck threw out an inflatable Miller Lite can for me!!! YAY!!!  What a fun afternoon. We really had the crowd getting into it. After that it was off to the dance again for another night of partying. Ya know, it's really bad when you walk up to the bar and the guy already knows what you want!!! lol Fun times that night with all the bands. Afterwards it was time for Blender Bob's sha-bang. Blender drinks and "women's bitch dip" were on the menu. And Paul Ziemski really needed a haircut that night! Saturday started off with a few piwo's and cocktails, then off to Seacrets. Paula, Wes, Wendy and I floated around drinking daquiri's and Pain in De Ass's and calling everyone who wasn't there! Hope you all enjoyed that. When we tried to stand up, and realized we couldn't , we decided it was time to eat. There was a woman taking pictures, however, she must not have had the wide angle lense, and didn't think we would all fit!!! lol So we got our own picture! After that it was off to Pecker's again, where, for some reason, we all wore our sunglasses?!?! Who knows! Back to the dance for another night of fun......especially with PCM. Ummm...Wally, Paula and I are still waiting for the 4th, 5th & 6th sets so we can sing! Thanks for playing so many songs for Richie's babes & the 8 tiny reindeer. By the end of the night, my bust size seemed to have grown about 10 sizes....wonder how that happend? After the hall we went to Sumo's Subs with Richie and Matt...and Richie proceeded to call everyone he knew in my cellphone. Pre-paid phone sex anyone? NUTS!! It was a great time.
