Notice about JVC approved brands
Since the beginning of videotapes, there has been several brands made, many of them do not have JVC approval. JVC invented the VHS tape back in the late 70s, and throughout the years, many brands have existed that does not JVC approve their tapes.
Examples
of JVC approved tapes include Sony, TDK, Fujifilm, Maxell, Memorex, EMTEC
(BASF), GE, Scotch, 3M, SKC, JVC, and RCA.
And
one more thing about them, brands that are JVC approved has the ORIGINAL VHS
logo. If a brand has just VHS in normal letters or an imitated VHS logo, it is
not JVC approved, and therefore is not worth trading. So, in general, please
avoid store brand tapes that have not been approved by JVC. Use only genuine
brand tapes, not generic! Thank you!
