"... Przejde przez ten swiat tylko jeden raz. Dlatego cokolwiek moge zrobic dobrego lub jakakolwiek komukolwiek wyswiadczyc przysluge, niech uczynie to teraz. Niech tego nie odkladam ani nie zaniedbuje, bo nie bede szedl ta droga nigdy wiecej..." . - Sw. Pawel The Mass held at the Saint Joseph Cathedral in Honor of Pope John Paul II was unusually special. Columbus Bishop Frederick F. Campbell presided at the memorial Mass flanked by 150 priests and deacons of the diocese. In ancient Latin, the choir sang mournful -- but hopeful -- hymns, asking that the dead be spared punishment and brought to eternal peace.
Farewell to Pope John Paul II With painful hearts we are saying farewell to you, our Holy Father. We know that you are not suffering any more and you are in a better place at the side of our Father. We are left in sorrow and with empty hearts grieving the loss of our dear friend, which we had in you, our beloved Father, and our great countryman who turned the eyes of the world to our country, Poland and us. You were and always will be a source of our pride and joy. We are eternally grateful and we thank you for everything you have done for us Poles, for our faith, and for every human being. We believe that you will always watch over us, guide us, and give us strength in difficult times. We pray for you and we entrust you to the providence and love of Jesus Christ and Mary, Mother of God. May God bless our Pope John Paul II . Farewell our beloved Father.
