Greetings From The Editor

Things are starting to fall into place for my move to Banff. I’ll keep everyone posted if I can from there, but seeing as I’ll be so out of touch with most of the occurrences here, I’ll be looking for someone to keep up the newsletter and Poly-Cal functions until I return in September. If anyone is interested in the job, please let me know.

News Flash

We have been running for three months now and I believe that we have reached out to everyone we can within our social circle. I am hoping to have some information brochures to pass out to other groups around the city before I go, so we can broaden our reach. There are other poly’s out there; we just have to find them!

Internet News

Poly-Cal has been listed on the Internet now as a resource for polyamorous people on the Internet. I was contacted through one of these listings by a researcher on the Life Network who is putting together a show about polyamory. They are looking for a Canadian triad to participate in an interview. As of yet there is no broadcast date but I’ll keep you posted.

Definition of the Month

Triad: A relationship that exists between three romantically involved individuals. This can take on any number of forms and can be referred to in abbreviated forms according to the sexes of the participants. Eg. FFM, two females, one male. MMF two males one female etc.
