Welcome to the Portlandia Confederation. 

Near Burningman's East Plaza the folks at Turninghand, Polydomes, Pee Pot, Voodoo Galley, and the Fun Center we will again be clumping to form the Portlandia Confederation.  This is not  a village, buts a confederation of individual camps that share resources.   Each camp is responsible for their own space and folks, but borders are fluid and friendly.  Most of the camps will be from Oregon but some will be from other parts of the World.  
Turning Hand Community (THC)      2002  2001
Turning Hand Community is an eclectic assemblage of individual and small group projects coming together as one in the beneficent shadow of The Hand. This year's installations are The Hand (of course), the T.H.C. Family Fun Center, Turning Hand Theatre, Pinky's Bar, Porno Lanes, the Misting Dome and anything else we think of.  Most pieces are open to 24x7 or until we pass out.

The Poly Domes are a mecca and training ground for folks with MPS (Multiple Partners Syndrome).  Stop by for how-to tips @ 1 PM ,  the dermal purification ceremony @ 11 AM, or lessons in deep energetic contact for non gender balance groups.

Pee Pot Camp                       2002  
At Camp PeePot you're in for the chance to decorate your own personal PeePot as a practical souvenir of those special times at Black Rock City. A very limited number of undecorated PeePots will be available for the unprepared, PLUS, we will post pictures  of the best PeePots on our website after the event!

Looks good except that many of us will not be using any parking areas as we incorporate our vehicles into our camps and structures.  Personally, I like the "soft" camp plan and just let it evolve into what it will be.  Otherwise we end up policing each other and telling one another where to put our things.
