When I got my Sagem MYX-5, I was chuffed with it. It was a big disappointment though when I could not find any polyphonic ring tones etc for it. So I bought a data cable and downloaded a few sound files to see if they would work on my phone.

The Sagem MYX-5 supports WAV and MIDI files. I right clicked and saved a few sound files on various web sites and found that the MMFs would not play on my computer.

I then found a program called "midi 2 poly" designed for the samsung t100 which converts the formats. WHAT A PROGRAM! I could now play these MMFs and save them in MIDI format - thus could download them onto my phone!
Problem - they sounded absolutely rubbish on the phone.

I played about with the files, changing tone/ instruments etc. I found that certain 'sounds' was not supported by the sagem myx-5, also most files were too big or long in length, so I 'cut' them.
So i experimented.......

I NOW HAVE PERFECT SOUNDING POLYPHONIC RINGTONES! AND I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU!

All I do is edit MIDI or MMF files to suit the phone.

You can try, see extas page for summary on how to.
