Ponies for Children, Inc.

With over fifty years of experience, Ms. Louise E. Hollyday has dedicated her life to teaching the youngest of riders the basics of horsemanship and equitation.  She specializes in teaching children 9 years old and under, with the largest of her lesson ponies being only 11.2hh.          As one of the founding members of the Maryland Pony Breeders organization, she continues to breed registered foundation classic Shetland ponies, and the occasional Welsh, under the "Celynnen" prefix.  Most of our Shetlands are linebred Olney, as they have the most suitable temperaments for young children.  Not to mention the fact that they are solid, old fashioned Shetland ponies!          Congratulations to Louise Hollyday!  She was selected  by the Maryland Horse Council as the 2005 Maryland Horsewoman of the Year!!
