SWEPT AWAY

A potion dark as cherry wine
Taints your lips and words that
Breeze past
Touching so lightly but
Razing the tender skin of the cheek
Cutting into and scarring
That flesh
Your fingers then trace
The line of blood red
Smearing the stain into naive eyes
Blinding
You take my love
And crush me to your chest
I cry
I am so damn weak

COFFIN NAIL

darkness cannot stay me
No! For I live to love you
Dear Heart!
desert me not I say vehemently
for if you do thunder cloaks of midnight cloth
will cover my dead remains
If mourning shroud will hold me fast
as wishes and dreams of embraces from you
that then will I wear
Gladly
and Leave me Not!
for should we part
cannot will not continue
As breath to living
You are mine
Without -
a gasp left only
then candle wick flame blown out
the only fear to me is
that which leaves my limbs a-tremble
Only if my Breath, my Life my Dear Heart
apart we would stay
That hammer blow would
seal the nail
into my coffin lid!
So said with passion eyes aglow in red!
...Yet in heartless fashion do you I see
tossing rose petals on the top of me
thorns intact
impale that life which you gave me - Breath
How So?
Tears are blood and rain from you
See me here!
See me here!
Why go?
...yet you do...leaving bloody tears a-trailing
My shroud of death remains open to the rain...
if you could but enter into
this velvet coffin nest
life would puzzle
no more you...
for sod bound Yes I now am
but with a love hope
That your life breath to me once again could be!
and I would become
Free of coffins nail
Free from under lions paw
Free to love in life
and leave this stink of living Hell
