Helen Avakian and Adrian Legg! Helen opened for Adrian at the Town Crier Cafe in Pawling, NY. I'm sorry I missed it. I would have loved to have seen two such great guitar masters on one bill. The Town Crier has a number of great acoustic acts all year long. They are also famous for their desserts, which Adrian is carefully checking to see if this steller reputation is warrented.
You know, Helen likes sweets too, and she is soooo tiny! Doesn't that just get you? I don't even know how she plays guitar at all with her lil feminine hands! She was showing me two ways to approach one of her arrangements once, and she said the way she does it is a big stretch for the left hand, so I might prefer the other way. Heck, I figured if SHE can do it with her hands, then with my big strong manly hands, I could of course do it more easily, right? Well, (ahem..) I opted for the easier way.
